Today we are using AI and NI (natural intelligence) to solve problems. AM (artificial mind/consciousness – ToM/theory of mind) is still a problem for scientists. There is a blocker to AGI/ASI (artificial general/super intelligence), and it is the logic behind the consciousness/mind. How does it simulate? Those are the problems in AI. As an example, everything is caused by logic/reason according to Buddhism. But the logic behind the mind or simulating it artificially is not an easy task. The mind must be the controller of everything before we perform the actions. AI is the subset of AM (artificial mind), also including emotions, pain, imagination, etc. Those are the problems to achieve for scientists in artificial consciousness/mind. We/next gens should create AM to prevent blockers of AGI/ASI in the future.
